Halloween Party Slime Eyeball Punch: A simple traditional punch recipe transformed into a creepy punch filled with floating gummy eyeballs. This boba punch will have your guests creeped out and also excited to try your eye of newt party punch!

What is Boba?

BOBA: Tapioca pearls (boba) are small chewy balls made from tapioca starch. Typically, these spheres are black in color and are used for bubble tea. Although boba has a gelatinous texture, no gelatin is used in the process of creation. Black boba pearls were created for an aesthetic purpose to contrast with the color of milk tea. The pearls on their own have no flavor.

How to Make Halloween Party Slime Eyeball Punch

There’s only three ingredients (not counting the optional black boba) to this punch recipe. Basically a dump and serve punch. If adding the black pearls, add them first to the punch bowl or container. Fill half way with ice. Add the Hawaiian punch, pineapple juice and ginger ale. Stir to combine and serve.

Can I Make This Punch Ahead of Time?

Yes you can but there are some adjustments that will need to be made. Since watering down the punch is not an option, you would need to leave out the ice until ready to serve. TRY THIS: Add to your container the punch, pineapple juice and boba. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Before serving, add the ginger ale. Lightly stir to combine. Add the ice….the Boba Naturally falls to the bottom.

How to Add Flavor to Black Tapioca Pearls (boba)

After the pearls have been boiled and reached the desired chewiness you can add flavor or sweetness by soaking them in a simple syrup for 10 to 20 minutes. The syrup can be just sugar and water or you can add flavorings to the sugar mixture. Heat the added flavor with the water and sugar. The flavor depends on what the main flavor is the pearls will be going into. TIP FOR EXTRACTS: WAIT UNTIL AFTER THE SIMPLE SYRUP IS COOKED TO ADD EXCTRACTS.

How to Make a Simple Syrup

Use equal amounts of granulated sugar and water (example: 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water) Heat the water in a small saucepan over medium low heat until hot, do not bring to a boil. Add the sugar and stir until fully dissolved.

Halloween Party Slime Eyeball Punch

Yield: 30 (8 ounce) Servings

A simple traditional punch recipe transformed into a creepy punch filled with floating eyeballs. This boba punch will have your guests creeped out and also excited to try your eye of newt party punch!

Ingredients

  • 2½ cups black tapioca pearls
  • small ice cubes or crushed ice
  • 1 gallon green berry rush Hawaiian Punch
  • 1 (46 ounce) can pineapple juice
  • 1 (2 liter) bottle ginger ale

Instructions

For the Boba Tapioca Pearls:

  1. Follow package directions

For the Punch:

  1. In a large container, add the softened boba tapioca pearls (eyeballs).
  2. Pour ice on top of the pearls.
  3. To the container add the punch, pineapple juice and ginger ale.
  4. Lightly stir and serve.
