Tiramisu Dip
Tiramisu Dip: Transform your favorite coffee dessert into individual party treats! This wonderful dessert is light and creamy, with swirls of a homemade chocolate sauce. The perfect ending to a great dinner party.
KAHLUA: The coffee liqueur compliments the tiramisu perfectly. SKIP THE KAHLUA: If you would rather skip the liqueur, add ¼ cup of water to the espresso powder, stir until the powder is dissolved.
How to Make Tiramisu Dip
This Tiramisu party dip is made with mascarpone, espresso powder, kahlua, vanilla extract, and homemade chocolate sauce. It’s sweetened with powdered sugar. The star is the fluffy texture which comes from the heavy whipping cream. (full printable recipe below)
FOR THE CHOCOLATE SAUCE: Place chopped chocolate in a medium bowl. In a small saucepan, combine the heavy cream and kahlua. Heat on medium until simmering 3 to 4 minutes (or microwave in bowl 1 minute). Pour hot cream mixture over chopped chocolate. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes. Stir until smooth. Refrigerate until cool but still pourable (10 to 15 minutes). NOTE: If alcohol is a concern, ALCOHOL EVAPORATES AT 173°
FOR THE FLUFFY CREAMY FILLING: In a stand mixer fitted with a whisk attachment on medium, beat mascarpone, powdered sugar, espresso powder, vanilla, and a pinch of salt until smooth and creamy (1 to 2 minutes). Gradually add heavy cream and beat until stiff peaks for (2 to 3 minutes).
PUTTING IT ALL TOGETHER: In small jars or cups layer 2 tablespoons of chocolate sauce, ½ cup of cream, swirl chocolate sauce and cream together. Serve with ladyfingers on the side.
