DIY Woodland Cupcake Stand
This awesome cupcake stand has 5 tiers! This fun rustic homemade cupcake stand will fit any rustic themed party. I created this DIY Woodland Cupcake Stand for my Tinker Bell Woodland Party. I also plan on using it for my rustic western themed party. Barn weddings are all the rage. This cupcake stand would fit right in! Made from wood around the house. If you don’t have piles of wood I’m sure you know someone that has a fireplace with a supply of wood you could pick through. Storage
One of the great things about this cupcake stand is how easy it is to store. Since there is no glue and everything has been attached with screws it can easily be taken a part and stored.
Pictured below is a little hidden treasure at the base of the cupcake stand.
Easy to Make Cupcake Stand with Flags
This stand is made of scrap wood. The tiers are held up with paper filled mason jars. Holes are drilled on each side to hold the big dowels for a banner. The banner is optional. This stand can be repainted and used over and over again. STORAGE: The cake stand comes apart for easy storage. The perfect solution to a narrow space.
Kind of the same idea as the previous stand but without the banners. For an even more rustic look I filled the jars with birdseed. This just goes to show you that you don’t have to spend a lot of money on a cupcake stand. The idea of taking various lengths of wood, painting, covering, or leaving it natural makes the best cupcake stand. Look around your garage before spending a lot of money on a store bought cake stand.

THANKS FOR VISITING♥
That is such a great theme! I love the cupcakes, they look so delicious. I did a dessert table for my neice’s sweet 16 and I had suuuch a hard time finding a cake stand that would house at least 50 cupcakes! I ended up having one made locally, but this stand is such a great and easy to assemble idea. I will keep this in my mind of my next table!!
This is so cool! Great idea! I pinned it for my Valentine’s day party!
Adorable! You did a great job! Very creative! New follower here! I love your site! Have a great weekend! 🙂
This is awesome, I love the banner! I would probably fill the jars with sprinkles or bright colored candy.
Wow! What a great looking spread! Everything looked delicious, and the way you displayed it all was perfect! Thanks for linking up! ~Jen
Love this display – it reminds me of something I’d see on Cupcake Wars! I found you through Homemaker on a Dime’s blog hop…I’m now following you!
What a fun theme – and everything looks super yummy!
That is such a great idea. The cupcake stands I have been looking at for my daughter’s 2nd bday party are ridiculously overpriced!

Cheryl, you are right, they are expensive. Just left Homegoods and they were charging like $50 for some chandelier-looking stand. Thanks for posting this!
What are the dimensions of the wood you used? And can I use the same size jars (looks like you use two different sizes)
Hi Gina,
The bottom board was 4 feet long and 6 inches wide. For the other levels I went in 5 to 6 inches on each side every time I added a tier and kept the width the same. You can use the same size mason jars. I liked the smaller ones for the smaller boards. 🙂
Thank you, this is a huge help. How about the sturdiness of it? If it is on a table that is not backed against a wall, do you think it will hold up?
Super cute! i am not a cupcake lover but i def. would love to use this idea in one of my events.
Thank you for sharing!
Awesome! Thanks! 🙂
