For the Candy Star Topper:
- assorted colored candy melts to fit your color scheme
- small piping bag or squeeze bottle
For the Decorations:
- 13 flower vials
- 4 - 2.25 bottles of colored sugar sprinkles for fairy dust
- sparkle tape
- curly ribbon
Instructions
For the Celebration Fairy Wand Cookies:
- Preheat oven to 350°.
- In a large bowl, break up cookie dough.
- Stir or knead in the flour and sprinkles until well blended.
- On a lightly floured work surface; coat all sides of dough with flour.
- With a rolling pin, roll out dough ½ inch thick, adding additional flour as needed to prevent sticking.
- Flour the star shaped cookie cutter, cut out stars.
- Gently brush excess flour from starts; place 2 inches apart on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake 15 minutes or until light golden brown. Cool 1 minute; remove from cookie sheets to cooling racks.
- Cool completely before adding the candy topping.
For the Candy Star Topper:
- Pour candy melts in a microwave safe bowl.
- Heat on high 1 minute, stir until melted and creamy.
- If candy is not melted, continue heating at 70% in 30 second increments.
For the Decorations:
- Wrap the sparkle tape around the lollipop stick.
- Fill the vial with the sprinkles. (I used a funnel)
- Tie ribbon around the lollipop stick and curl.
