What to Serve with a Sweet Dip
There are so many things that would be delicious with this candy bar dip. Below are a few of my favorites. When pairing a dip with items, think about the dips ingredients. Example: The main ingredient in a Payday are salted peanuts. Peanuts and chocolate are made for each other. So, serving chocolate graham crackers or chocolate cookies with the dip makes total sense.
- PRETZELS
- TRADITIONAL GRAHAM CRACKERS
- CHOCOLATE GRAHAM CRACKERS
- CHOCOLATE COOKIES
- STRAWBERRIES
- SLICED APPLES
- VANILLA WAFERS
- VANILLA MINI PIZZELLE
How to Serve Payday Party Dip
Serve savory dips, sweet dips, or BOTH! Below are a few of my favorite dip display tips and tricks. Perfect for a baby shower!
- TRADITIONAL BOWL: Savory or sweet dips can be served in bowls.
- HOLLOWED BREAD BOWL: More for a savory dip. Sour dough rounds work best.
- MINI PUFF PASTRY BOWLS: Defrost puff pastry, cut into small squares, press into a cupcake tin, bake as directed. Spoon dip into cooled bowls.
- SHOT GLASS OR SMALL GLASSES: Whether you have a cupcake display or a tiered stand, adding your dip to a 5.5 ounce plastic Jello shot cup fits perfectly. All you need to do is spoon some of the dip (sweet or savory) into the cups. Insert what you’re serving with the dip into the cup with the dip (pretzels, carrots, celery, graham cracks etc.)
- HOLLOWED BELL PEPPERS: This is for a savory dip. For a pop of color, use different colors of bell peppers.
- CUPCAKE DISPLAY: Whether you have a cupcake display or a tiered stand, adding your dip to a 5.5 ounce plastic Jello shot cup fits perfectly. All you need to do is spoon some of the dip (sweet or savory) into the cups. Insert what you’re serving with the dip into the cup with the dip (pretzels, carrots, celery, graham cracks etc.) Add dip cups to the cupcake display.
- WAFFLE CONES: The sweetness of the dip combined with a vanilla cone is magical.
How to Store Cheesecake Dip
Store cream cheese dip in an airtight container and refrigerate. NEVER let the dip sit out at room temperature for more then 2 hours. If stored properly, the dip will last 5 to 7 days.
TWO MORE PAYDAY RECIPES
HOMEMADE PAYDAY BARS: Even though Pay Day is my number one favorite candy bar nothing compares to this homemade version. This is the easiest copycat PayDay® Candy Bar recipe out there.
MINI PAYDAY CHEESECAKES: These creamy cheesecakes are baked in 4 ounce baby food jars. You can also bake them in cupcake liners. The payday candy bar is my favorite candy bar and cheesecake is my favorite dessert. So I decided to combine the two to create the best cheesecake EVER! Starting with the Nutter Butter Cookie crumb crust.
