Halloween Chocolate Pumpkin Cake
Halloween Chocolate Pumpkin Cake | This cake will be a hit at your Halloween party. It not only delivers in flavor but also adds a touch of creepiness to your party table. Scroll down for my secret chocolate ingredient.
A decadent chocolate pumpkin cake covered in a creamy fluffy cinnamon cream cheese frosting and dripping with delicious dark chocolate. Add a few creepy spiders for the perfect Halloween cake. Or……take off the spiders for a delicious spicy chocolate pumpkin fall cake.
Add a layer of the cinnamon cream cheese frosting.
Pour my secret ingredient on top of the frosted cake and spread only the top.
Pour the remaining chocolate into a squeeze bottle and drip along the edges.
I used dark chocolate candy melts (from Wilton) for my chocolate drizzle. It’s super easy to do and creates a yummy hard chocolate shell (scroll down to the recipe for the directions). Use the melted candy as glue for the spider web and spiders. I purchased the spider web a couple of years ago from my bakery store. I searched and couldn’t find a link for you anywhere. If you add a large spider that should do the trick.

Hi Sheryl,
I am making this cake and in the cream cheese frosting you have cocoa in the ingredients but not in the instructions. Do you add it with the cinnamon?
Hi A.J.
Yes, you add the confectioners’ sugar, cocoa, cinnamon and vanilla. I changed the directions to include the cocoa. Thanks for catching that! 🙂
