Cranberry Orange Vinaigrette
This Cranberry Orange Vinaigrette is simply delicious! With whole berry cranberry sauce, fresh orange juice and balsamic vinegar it’s adds another layer of flavor to your salad. You don’t have to wait for winter to enjoy this cranberry orange vinaigrette! Since the main ingredient is canned cranberry sauce you can enjoy this delicious dressing year round! Vinaigrette dressings are great for outdoor parties like barbecues or picnics. The dressing doesn’t need to be refrigerated and won’t spoil.

MY FAVORITE SALAD WITH CRANBERRY ORANGE VINAIGRETTE
This salad is not only simple to put together but tasty too! With fresh ingredients like sliced pears, an assortment of lettuce and crunchy walnuts. My PEAR WALNUT SALAD is a winner! There’s no recipe, just add your favorite greens (lettuce), sliced pears and either toasted or plain walnuts (toasted is best). When ready to serve drizzle vinaigrette and toss or serve on the side. Sophisticated and simple!

TIP:
For a creamier vinaigrette add all the ingredients to a blender or use an immersion blender. I used my immersion blender it really emulsified the dressing. The oil and vinegar never separated.
Cranberry Orange Vinaigrette
Ingredients
- ½ cup canned whole berry cranberry sauce
- ¼ cup fresh orange juice (about 1 orange)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 tablespoons good balsamic vinegar
- 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
To a blender or deep container for an immersion blender add the cranberry sauce, orange juice, oil, vinegar, sugar, salt and pepper. Blend until completely combined. Serve at room temperature.
Notes
If you would like a chunky dressing simply add all the ingredients EXCEPT the oil to a bowl. Slowly add the oil while whisking.
