We eat salads at least three times a week. I’m not a fan of bottled dressings. I typically make a balsamic vinaigrette for our salads. I’m so happy that now I have another alternative! Plus, this dressing may only make about a cup but a little goes a long way. Yes, it’s packed with that much flavor! Easy Homemade Creamy Italian Dressing Recipe
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
Instructions
In a medium jar add the vinegar, sugar, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, celery salt, black pepper, mustard, oil and mayonnaise. Screw on lid and shake until combined. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
For added spice and zip, add 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese and a pinch of red pepper flakes.

I accidentally left out the sugar, tasted it, and thought “this isn’t very good.” Then I realized what I’d done, added the sugar, and it tasted delicious! I love that it uses dried herbs. I made it vegan by using vegan mayo. Thanks for sharing.
