This Hawaiian Pineapple Coleslaw is my go to salad to take to summer potlucks or barbecues. It’s not only super easy to make, can be made in advance, it’s also delicious!
At first you may wonder about adding pineapple. Pineapple adds a touch of sweetness just like apples or raisins in a traditional coleslaw recipe. Customize this recipe to fit your dietary needs. Down below you will see both regular and low cal versions.
Hawaiian Pineapple Coleslaw
Ingredients
- 1 (16 ounce) bag coleslaw mix
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup pineapple tidbits, drained
Instructions
The Regular Version:
In a medium bowl stir together coleslaw mix, mayonnaise, sugar and pineapple. Refrigerate 2 hours before serving
For the Low Calorie Version:
Use low fat or fat free mayonnaise and Splenda instead of sugar.
