THE CUPCAKE BOUQUET CENTERPIECE
I made the bouquet with dowels and plastic cups. HERE is how.
To start:
Fill whatever container you choose to use for the centerpiece with florafoam. Insert the dowels and cut to size so that you get a stair step effect.
Prepare your cups as directed in the how to link above.
Add the cups to the dowels.
Decorate with greenery and fun floral picks.
Make cupcakes. {link to recipe below}
Fill the bottom of the cups with coordinating colors of Sixlets.
Add cupcakes and decorate with frosting and Pearls.
NOTE: You don’t have to use a sleigh. That’s what I used because that’s what I had. A long narrow container down the center would look awesome too.
ORANGE CHOCOLATE CHUNK CUPCAKES WITH A CREAMY WHITE ORANGE FROSTING
CHRISTMAS TREE CUPCAKE TOPPER WITH PEARLS
In a Christmas tree candy mold place pearls. Melt white candy melts in the microwave. {about 1 minute and 30 seconds} Carefully pour over pearls. Using an off set spatula smooth the melted candy. Place in refrigerator to harden. {about 10 minutes}
PLACE SETTING
WONDERFUL FOILED SEMI-SOLID MILK CHOCOLATE SANTA FROM SWEETWORKS.
LOLLIPOP COOKIE PARTY FAVOR
Add a fun touch to your table with these lollipop cookies. Made to look like a lollipop and inserted into a floral vial filled with Pearls. TIP: I purchased my floral vials at the floral counter in my grocery store for only $1.20 per dozen. These also make a great party favor.
CANDY FILLED ORNAMENT PLACE CARDS
Purchase small plastic ornaments at your local craft store and fill them with coordinating colored Sixlets. Write names on the bulbs with permanent marker. When the party is over simply remove the names with fingernail polish remover.
SOCK COZIES
Add a touch of color to your party by covering your drink glasses with socks!
I took socks in the colors of my party table and created fun cozies for the kids.
To start:
Slip a sock over a cup or jar.
Place upside down and cut off the toe portion of the sock.
Tuck into the bottom of the cup.
PINE CONE CHRISTMAS TREES
Spray small pine cones with white spray paint.
Let dry completely.
Hot glue coordinating colors of Sixlets to the tips.
POM POM GARLAND
This is so cute and so easy. With a large needle threaded with crochet string and knotted at the end spear the middle of a pom pom and slide it to the end. Continue until your garland has reached the desired length. I used 3 sizes of pom poms. Large, medium and very small. Kind of looks like candy. 🙂
