Mexican Chocolate Ganache
Mexican Chocolate Ganache | Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with this deliciously rich and creamy ganache. To make this chocolate I used Mexican hot chocolate tablets (pictured below) which are coated with sugar and infused with cinnamon. The sugar coated chocolate adds a little crunch to the ganache. Your Fiesta just got a whole lot better! Why? Because chocolate makes everything better!
My favorite way to serve this Mexican Chocolate Ganache is as a dip! I had fun taking a store bought churro mix and making waffle sticks. Click here to see how I made them using my waffle maker—->>>>CHURRO WAFFLE STICKS I also enjoy dipping dried fruit like apricots. Add a pinch of ground chipotle chile pepper to the ganache for spicy chocolate dipped apricots!
Your guests will ever guess that this ganache started as a store bought item. Chop, microwave, heavy cream, stir…. that’s all it takes to be on your way to a great dessert dip! Add a platter of berries and other fruits and dessert is ready!

Can you whip this ganache into a frosting?
Hi Emilio, Yes, this ganache has the same ingredients as ganache frosting. FOR WHIPPED FROSTING: Beat the mixture at medium speed until light, fluffy, and forms stiff peaks (about 3 minutes).
