Mini Holiday Pretzel Stick Stocking Stuffers
These fun Mini Holiday Pretzel Stick Stocking Stuffers are great for kids and adults. They may be small but there’s a lot flavor packed into these mini treats! With two versions you can customize your stocking stuffer. Add the decorated pretzels to a plastic candy cane for a stocking stuffer or add them to a small mason jar and give as a gift. These little treats make the perfect teachers gift or adult party favor. Scroll down to learn how to make BOTH stocking stuffer versions.
DOLLAR TREE FIND
Dollar tree has candy filled plastic candy canes. I took off the wrapper, saved the chocolate candy for cookies and filled the empty canes with my homemade pretzels.
ELEPHANT GIFT IDEA
Buy a jumbo (16 ounce) filled candy cane (Walmart has them filled with gumballs). Empty the contents and fill with full size decorated pretzels. Watch as this gift will be the hit of the party!
5 EASY TIPS ON HOW TO CREATE THE PERFECT DECORATED PRETZELS EVERY TIME.
- The best tool for keeping your candy melted is a melting pot from Wilton. It will not only melt candy but keep piping bags filled with the colors you use for drizzling hot and melted
- DO NOT over heat your candy. Make sure when melting your candy to keep the microwave at 70% and heat in 30 second increments, stirring between each time.
- If adding sprinkles: have them ready to go before coating your pretzel. Add sprinkles while the candy is still wet.
- If drying flat: line a cookie sheet with parchment. If drying upright, a container filled with rice works best for keeping wet pretzels upright.
- If candy is too thick: add a tablespoon of shortening NOT oil (per bag of candy) to the melted candy, stir to melt.

White Chocolate Mini Peppermint Decorated Pretzel Sticks
For a fun gift, add pretzels to a clear plastic candy cane or small mason jar.
Ingredients
- 1 (12 ounce) bag white candy melts
- peppermint candy, crushed
- 40 small pretzel sticks
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, set aside. Pour candy melts into a medium microwave safe bowl. Heat in increments of 30 seconds at 70%, stir between heating. Heat until melted and creamy. Dip pretzels in melted candy, sprinkle with crushed peppermint candy. Place on prepated baking sheet to harden.
Mini Chocolate Caramel Decorated Pretzel Sticks
Add these fun treats to a clear candy cane tube or in a small mason jar.
Ingredients
- 40 mini pretzel sticks
- 1 (12 ounce) bag dark chocolate candy melts
- ½ cup caramel bits or chews cut up
- 1 teaspoon water
- red, white and green candy melts and sprinkles
Instructions
Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Place caramel in a microwave safe bowl with water. Microwave 1 minute. Dip pretzels in melted caramel and place on parchment. NOTE: If caramel gets too hard before you have coated all the pretzels just microwave again to melt.
Melt chocolate and dip caramel coated pretzels in the melted chocolate. Place on parchment paper lined cookie sheet and put in refrigerator to harden. NOTE: If coating with sprinkles coat first before refrigerating the pretzels.
Once chocolate has hardened {about 5 minutes}. Melt the candy melts in a small microwave safe bowl, pour into a small zip top bag, cut a small corner off and drizzle on pretzel sticks. NOTE: Always start with the darkest color and end with the lightest. This will help lighted up your pretzels. Example: I started with green then red and ended with white. Place back in refrigerator to harden {about 5 minutes} and fill your empty candy cane tubes. SIDE NOTE: I purchased that cute felt stocking at Dollar Tree too!
