Mini Tropical Drink Cupcake Toppers
Mini Tropical Drink Cupcake Toppers: Make edible tropical cupcake toppers and add some fun to your party cupcakes! These adorable toppers are easy to make and will add something special to. Perfect for a luau, pool party or beach theme party. There are TWO styles to choose from. Which ever way you choose, all the ingredients are easy to find at your grocery store.
How to Make Mini Tropical Drink Cupcake Topper Without Pineapple Wedge
- INGREDIENTS (full printable instructions below)
- malted candy balls (Whoppers)
- white candy melts
- licorice bites (cut into small strips and then in half
- flow shaped sprinkles
- green sprinkles
- DIRECTIONS
- Cut a small portion of the top of a malted candy off (I used a serrated knife).
- Spoon a small dollop of melted chocolate on the top of the cut malted ball. Add the licorice straw, flower sprinkles and green sprinkles.
How to Make Mini Tropical Drink Cupcake Topper With Pineapple Wedge
- INGREDIENTS (full printable instructions below)
- malted candy balls (Whoppers)
- white candy melts
- twizzlers pull and peel
- white nonpareils (sprinkles)
- flower shaped sprinkles
- yellow candy melts
- red ball shaped sprinkles
- DIRECTIONS
- Cut a small portion of the top of a malted candy off.
- Pull licorice into straws and then cut into little quarter inch pieces.
- Cut yellow candy melts into small wedges.
- Dip the top of the malt ball into melted white candy and then into the white nonpareils. While candy is still soft insert a tiny little piece of the licorice. Hold in place a few seconds until the melted candy takes hold of the licorice.
- Dip yellow candy melt wedges (pineapple) into melted white candy, place on top of the nonpareils. Using tweezers; dip red round sprinkle (cherry) into the melted candy and place in front of the yellow wedge.

For the Topper WITH a Pineapple Wedge:
- malted candy balls (Whoppers)
- white candy melts
- Twizzlers Pull and Peel
- white nonpareils (sprinkles)
- flow shaped sprinkles
- yellow candy melts
- red ball shaped sprinkles
Tools

Instructions
Topper Without a Pineapple Wedge:
- Cut a small portion of the top of a malted candy off (I used a serrated knife).

- Pull licorice into straws and then cut into little quarter inch pieces.
- Cut yellow candy melts into small wedges.

Notes
RED BALL SPRINKLES: These will most likely be included in a sprinkle mix. Mine came from a Christmas Holly Mix I found at Walmart.
