Overnight Pear Berry Oatmeal | The perfect fresh and creamy breakfast. This overnight oatmeal is packed with crisp delicious pears and raspberries. You don’t have to cook this oatmeal! The oatmeal soaks overnight in a mixture of milk and yogurt. Which creates a creamy texture and delicious pops of fresh fruit flavor. The great thing about overnight oatmeal is you can add any of your favorite combos. Like blueberry lemon poppy seed, peanut butter banana or peanut butter and jelly, strawberries and banana…the list could go on and on! I plan on adding a few of these ideas to my list of recipes soon!
Set aside your high fat processed mid morning snack and pull out a jar of heart healthy delicious Overnight Pear Berry Oatmeal! This recipe makes enough for the whole work week! Don’t stop there! Make a batch or two for out of town guests. Look below for several different recipes. Some even sound like dessert!
You can also add flavored yogurt, I prefer vanilla that way I can add all sorts of things to my oatmeal. Like spices, fresh and dried fruits, nuts and even vegetables! I like spooning my overnight oatmeal in a handy mason jar, if you don’t mason jars any airtight container will do.

Overnight Pear Berry Oatmeal
Ingredients
- 12 ounces vanilla yogurt
- 1 1/3 cups old fashioned oats
- 1 1/3 cups milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon flaxseeds
- 2 medium pears, peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 (6 ounce) container fresh raspberries
Instructions
- In a medium bowl stir together yogurt, oats, milk, vanilla, salt, seeds, pears and raspberries.
- Transfer into 5 half pint jars.
- Cover and chill overnight or up to 5 days.
