Patriotic Party Favors
A cheap and easy way to treat your guests with a GREAT gift that can be filled with anything! Even little toys for a kids party. Using different scrapbook paper will allow you to customize this idea to any party! I first came across this idea on pinterest. It was a wedding party favor. I loved the uniqe shape so much I decided to use it for my Red, White and Blue Celebration.
Here is how I made these cute party favors!
Firstly cut a piece of scrapbook paper 8-1/2-inch x 11-inch (I used cardstock) in half. Any pattern. I Used paper a printed image would show up on. HERE is my template.
Fold paper in half without making a hard crease down through the middle. Do this by pinching the two top corners together so you create a curve with the paper. Sew from the fold to the corner turn and sew up the side.
Knot the two ends.
Fill the party favor.
Sew together the top part of the paper. Center the front of the party favor to the back seam. Trim of any excess strings hanging from the paper for a neat look.
