HOW TO MAKE PUMPKIN LATTÉ DECORATED PRETZELS
- Pour white vanilla wafers (Ghirardelli) into a microwave safe bowl.
- Heat 1 minute on high and stir. Heat an additional 30 seconds at 60%, stir. Stir until no lumps are present.
- Spoon melted candy over pretzel rod.
- Place on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and in the refrigerator to harden (about 10 minutes).
- If desired, add a second coat of the melted candy, place in refrigerator to harden (about 10 minutes)
- While the first layer is hardening, make the espresso drizzle.
- DRIZZLE: Pour white vanilla wafers in a microwave safe bowl. Heat 1 minute on high and stir until creamy.
- Once the vanilla candy is melted stir in the espresso powder.
- Pour into a piping bag, snip a small portion of the tip and in a back and forth motion add the latté portion to the pretzels.
- Add a sprinkle of espresso powder to the wet drizzle.
- Place back on the prepared cookie sheet to harden.

Ingredients
For the Pumpkin Spice Pretzel Coating:
- 12 pretzel rods
- 1½ cups or 1 (8.5 ounce) bag white vanilla wafers (Ghirardelli)
- ¼ teaspoon pumpkin flavor (Lorann Oils)
- ½ teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
For the Latté Drizzle:
- 1 cup or 6 ounces white vanilla wafers (Ghirardelli)
- 1 tablespoon espresso powder
For the Topping:
- ½ teaspoon espresso powder
Instructions
For the Pumpkin Spice Pretzel Coating:
- Line a baking or cookie sheet with parchment paper.
- Place vanilla candy wafers in a medium microwave safe bowl.
- Heat on high 1 minute, stir and heat an additional 30 seconds at 60%.
- Stir in pumpkin flavor and pumpkin pie spice.
- Cover ¾ of the pretzel with the melted candy, tap the side of the bowl releasing the extra candy.
- Place on prepared baking or cookie sheet.
- Refrigerate 10 minutes or until hardened.
- ***SECOND COATING*** THIS IS OPTIONAL: IT WILL ADD MORE PUMPKIN FLAVOR—Cover pretzels a second time, tap the side of the bowl releasing the extra candy. If the candy is too thick and has cooled too much. Pop it in the microwave for 30 seconds at 60%.
- Place in the refrigerator to harden (about 10 minutes)
TIP:

For the Latté Coating:
- Place vanilla candy wafers in a small microwave safe bowl.

- Stir in espresso powder, pour into piping bag or small zip top bag.
- Snip the corner and in a back and forth motion add the drizzle.
For the Topping:
- Pour coffee in the palm of your had and sprinkle over wet drizzle.
