Semi Homemade Blueberry Lemon Ice Cream
You are going to flip when you find out what I used to make this Semi Homemade Blueberry Lemon Ice Cream! At first I was definitely skeptical. With only two ingredients and one of them being something I NEVER expected. The flavors are bright and delicious. Perfect for a Spring or Summer party. I have been experimenting with different ways I could use store bought canned frosting. I made Strawberry Fudge, German Chocolate Cake Balls, learned How to Decorate Cookies Like a Pro and Decorated Pretzels but this one….takes the cake! Like I said ONLY TWO ingredients! Scroll down to see how I did it!

Semi Homemade Blueberry Lemon Ice Cream
Who knew canned frosting could make such a delicious ice cream!
Ingredients
- 2/3 to 3/4 can of store bought lemon frosting
- 2½ cups fresh blueberries
Instructions
Spoon frosting into a blender container, pour blueberries into the same container. Blend until smooth. Clean out the frosting can (of the remaining frosting), spoon blueberry mixture back into the can, cover with lid. Freeze at least 2 hours or until hardened. Store in the freezer until ready to serve.
If you would like to use all the frosting then simply alter the amount of blueberries and add 3 cups instead. Add to a freezer safe container with an airtight lid. Freeze at least 2 hours or until hardened. Store in the freezer until ready to serve.
