- 1 Can Pillsbury Grands Biscuits ( I like the Southern style)
- vegetable oil
BISCUIT DONUTS INSTRUCTIONS
- Take biscuits out of the container, use a small round cutter (about 1-inch) or the middle piece of a donut cutter to cut out the center.
- Pour oil into a dutch oven or large pot (about 2 inches). A deep fryer will work too.
- Heat oil to 350-360°.
- Fry until golden brown then flip over to the other side and continue frying until golden brown.
- Lift donuts out of the hot oil with a slotted spoon.
- Line a baking pan or cookie sheet with paper towels to absorb any extra oil.
- Transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
- DON’T FORGET ABOUT THE DOUGHNUT HOLES!
- TIP: IF ROLLING THE DONUTS IN A CINNAMON SUGAR MIXTURE DO IT WHILE THE DONUTS ARE STILL HOT

- Place four donuts at a time in the air-fryer basket.
- Fry (bake) 5-6 minutes.

- 3 tablespoons milk

- In a medium bowl, add the powdered sugar, cocoa powder, and milk.
- Whisk until smooth.
- Dip the top of a cooled doughnut into the icing, place on a rack to harden (if adding a topping do so now before the icing can harden*topping list below).
MAPLE ICING INGREDIENTS (full recipe below in recipe card)
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons maple flavoring
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 tablespoons milk

INGREDIENTS: •½ CUP WHOLE MILK • 2 TEASPOONS VANILLA EXTRACT •1 POUND POWDERED SUGAR INSTRUCTIONS: COMBINE MILK AND THE VANILLA IN A MEDIUM PAN AND HEAT OVER LOW HEAT UNTIL WARM.
