Halloween Party Treat Table Decorations
Now, let’s talk about how you can take your Halloween party to the next level with creative decorations for your treat table. When it comes to setting the mood for your spooky soirée, details matter. The theme of this party table is Trick-OR-Treat. The party table doesn’t have any scary elements. You can always add fake spiders, spiderwebs, witch hats, and black candles.
DIY PUMPKIN ORNAMENTS
THE BLACK WIRE WAS FOUND AT DOLLAR TREE IN THE FLORAL DEPARTMENT (ALL SUPPLIES ARE FROM DOLLAR TREE)
- USE A NEED WITH A LARGE EYE 2. THREAD WIRE THROUGH NEEDLE EYE 3. PRESS NEEDLE INTO STYROFOAM PUMPKIN
4. USE A HARD SURFACE AND PRESS THE NEEDLE THROUGH THE PUMPKIN
5. USE PLYERS TO PULL THE NEEDLE OUT. 6. LEAVE ENOUGH WIRE ON BOTH SIDES TO FORM A LOOP.
- BACKDROP: The Halloween table starts with a backdrop of black fabric and Halloween-themed banners. Look for the free printable banners below in the Halloween Collection.
- TABLE COVERING: The table covering was another piece of the same fabric used for the backdrop.
- TREE BRANCH: The idea of using a tree branch came when I ran across the mini black lanterns at Dollar Tree. The lanterns were the perfect size and came with batteries! To anchor the tree branch submerg it into a tall bucket filled with rice. Once the lanterns were hung I decided the tree needed more color so I added the pumpkins also found at Dollar Tree. The pumpkins are made of styrofoam and made for use in floral arrangements. I used a long needle and thin wire to transform them into hanging pumpkins.
- STACKED TRICK-OR-TREAT JACK-O-LANTERN BUCKETS: I love decorating with these buckets. Walmart has tons of them plus they’re very inexpensive. I had three extra lanterns and placed them in the buckets. You can use any battery-operated light. I’ve even used glow sticks. The buckets not only add color and interest they also add height.
- TRICK-OR-TREATERS: I used small skeletons from Dollar Tree as my trick-or-treaters. I dressed them with hats and gave them mini buckets filled with candy. The skeletons served as table fillers. I like a full party table. By paying attention to the little details, you can transform your treat table into a masterpiece that will leave your guests spellbound.
Halloween Party Dessert Table Treats
TRICK-OR-TREAT CANDY BUCKETS AND CRATE OF TOYS
This trick-or-treat party table wouldn’t be complete without candy and toys! I chose to prefill the little trick-or-treat buckets with candy (both candy and buckets from Dollar Tree) and put the little toys (also found at Dollar Tree) in a crate. I supplied the party guests with little trick-or-treat boxes (click here for the free printable or scroll down to see the whole collection→ DOUBLE SIDED HALLOWEEN HAUNTED HOUSE PARTY FAVOR TREAT BOX) so they could fill it themselves.
Rice Krispy Treats Jack-O-Lanterns

More Semi-Homemade Halloween Party Treats
This Halloween party has something for everyone. A rule I ALWAYS abide by is to split the party treats into store-bought and homemade. This Halloween party fits that rule perfectly. There are only THREE made-from-scratch homemade treats on this fun Halloween Party Table.
CARAMEL POPCORN FILLED PARTY PAPER CONES
Continue the spooktacular snacking with some Caramel Popcorn Filled Paper Cones. These delicious treats are a perfect combination of sweet and salty, with the crunch of popcorn coated in rich, gooey caramel. I used store-bought Crunch ‘n Munch Caramel Popcorn and Peanuts from Walmart. At only $1.47 per box, (here in Tucson AZ) I thought it was a great value plus it’s delicious! Of course, there’s nothing wrong with making homemade caramel popcorn. CLICK HERE FOR MY RECIPE→EASY HOMEMADE CARAMEL POPCORN. Serve them in cute paper cones for a fun and portable snack that your guests will love. I added the cones to a dowel for height and to add more interest. They can also be used without the dowel. Jack-O-Lantern Mini Spice Cakes

HOW TO STOP YOUR BUNDT CAKES FROM STICKING TO THE PAN
After baking for years I finally figured out how to make a bundt cake without it sticking to the pan. USE NONSTICK SPRAY WITH FLOUR! To further make this step successful you will also need a pasty brush.
- Spray the whole inside of each cake well with nonstick cooking spray that contains flour.
- Use a pastry brush and evenly disperse the cooking spray.
WHICH PAN YOU SHOULD USE FOR YOUR MINI SPICE CAKE BUNDT CAKES
I used a 3.75-cup bundt pan from Nordic Ware. The pan offers tiny one-bite bundt cakes and is the perfect size for parties. Spray the pan with nonstick cooking that has flour. Once the pan is sprayed, use a brush to get into all the nooks and crannies.
