Under the Sea Homemade Lollipops
Under the Sea Homemade Lollipops: It only takes one ingredient to make these Jolly Ranchers suckers. Make a splash with these amazing aqua colored lollipops at your next beach or ocean themed party.
How to Use Under the Sea Homemade Lollipops
The kids will go crazy over these Under the Sea Suckers! Lollipops aren’t just for eating, they can also serve as a decorative element. Below are a few of my ideas.
CENTERPIECE: Place a long piece of styrofoam on the center of the table. Stick the lollipops in a staggered way. Use tiny battery operated white lights and weave them around in and out of the suckers. Using a light blue mesh fabric, weave the fabric to hide the styrofoam and the lights. Add fun little items like fish, coral, and shells.
DESSERT TABLE: Because the suckers are top heavy you will need to lay the suckers down. You might also need to place them in cellophane treat bags. OR if you have room, styrofoam works great too.
PARTY FAVOR: This ones easy, place the one sucker into a cellophane treat bag, use a twist tie to close, and hand out to the kids as they leave.

HOT CANDY TIP
WHILE CANDY IS MELTING CHOOSE THE FISH SPRINKLES AND SET THEM OUT IN ORDER OF USE. BY THE THIRD SUCKER THE CANDY IS STARTING TO HARDEN. PLACE HOT COOKIE SHEET ON AN OVEN MITT AND NOT THE COLD COUNTER. NOTE: If candy hardens while working with it, return to the oven 1 minute.

How to Make Edible Sea Glass
Throwing an adult tropical beach party? Really drive the theme home and fill candy dishes with edible sea glass! Place unwrapped individual pieces of Jolly Rancher hard candy on lined cookie sheet, spaced out enough to allow for the candy to melt without touching the candy next to it. Use the temperature as listed. Melting time may vary due to only melting one candy and not three.
Can I use a Candy Mold?
YES! You can totally use a candy mold. Make sure the candy mold is meant to be used with hot candy and in the oven. DO NOT USE candy molds that are meant for chocolate. Use the same temperature as listed. Place unwrapped hard candy in a zip top bag, hit with a heavy item (like a rolling pen) until the candy is in pieces. Fill candy well with candy pieces. Because the mold is will make a thicker lollipop the melting time may vary from the original recipe.
WHERE CAN I BUY FISH SPRINKLES?
MEDIUM FISH CANDY SPRINKLES: The ones I used are from Wilton. They might of discontinued them since I can’t find them. Here are fish that are comparable to the ones I used. Click here to purchase →FISH SHAPED SPRINKLES
SMALL FISH CANDY SPRINKLES: The small fish I used were Finding Dory themed from Wilton. Again, I couldn’t find them. Although I think the sprinkles I did find are a way better mix. There are not only little fish but star fish and seahorses too! Click here to purchase→UNDER THE SEA SPRINKLES
WHITE NONPAREIL SPRINKLES: These tiny little white balls can be found at any store that sells cake or cupcake sprinkles.
