On this post I’m going to show you how you can take “game day” food and transform it into Christmas Party Food. First, always keep your favorite pizza, macaroni and cheese, lasagna and ice cream in the freezer. Now it’s time to create. For the most part party food is all about the presentation.
THE FOOD
VINAIGRETTE SALAD: Instead of serving your salad in a boring large bowl serve it in a large jar. PIZZA DIPPERS: Serve slices of pizza in small jars or cups with Ranch Dressing or marinara sauce. GARLIC BREAD LASAGNA: Hollow out dinner rolls, add garlic spread to the bottom, stick the hollowed bread bowls under the broiler, toast and fill with hot lasagna. Pick up and eat it without a fork! MEXICAN MAC & CHEESE: Cook as directed, add (2)11-ounce cans of sweet corn with red and green peppers. In a separate bowl mix together 1 cup bread crumbs, 1 teaspoon Mexican oregano and 1/4 cup melted butter. Scoop mac & cheese into jars, sprinkle with bread crumb mixture. Set under the broiler and broil until golden brown. ICE CREAM SUNDAE BAR: You can never go wrong with Ice Cream. I think about ice cream the same way I think about soup. I can have it year round. Make sure to add the NEW holiday flavors like PEPPERMINT WONDERLAND AND A VERY MERRY EGGNOG. Everyone loves making their own ice cream sundae and you will loved how easy it was to put together!
